After registering your child for school, visit the Transportation page on the Connally ISD website to access the BUS RIDER REGISTRATION FORM. Each student must be registered using this online form to ride the bus to and from school. Connally ISD will apply for the ESSA Federal Grant. The district has gathered information from stakeholders during the comprehensive needs assessment process. The district plans to use the funds to develop and implement a well-rounded program of instruction to meet the academic needs of all students, identify students who may be at risk for academic failure, provide additional educational assistance to individual students the district or school determines may need help in meeting the challenging state academic standards, identify and implement instructional and other strategies intended to strengthen academic programs and improve school conditions for student learning. Notification of Silent Auction
The Connally Independent School District (“District”) is announcing it will host a silent auction at the Maintenance Facility located at 715 N Rita St, Lacy Lakeview, TX, 76705.
The auction will start on February 21, 2023, and conclude on March 1, 2023. The opening of the bid envelopes will be on March 2, 2023, at 8am, this will be hosted at the maintenance facility and is open to the public. The list of surplus items can be found online at

The bid sheets will be located at the Maintenance facility you will place them in a sealed envelope with your name on it, then place it into a locked box.
Please contact the maintenance department between Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., at (254-296-6485) before arriving to ensure someone will be there.
The Cut off date will be March 1, 2023, at 3 p.m. The District will not acknowledge or receive bids delivered or received after the deadline or those submitted by telephone, facsimile, or electronic mail. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive any formalities and irregularities in the proposals received.
Good afternoon Cadets!
As many are already aware, Texas school districts are no longer required to be in school for a specified number of days. Instead, they are required to attend school for a minimum of 75,600 minutes in a school term. Currently, Connally ISD is on track to meet the minimum required minutes at all campuses, with a few days to spare. Therefore, CISD students and employees will not be required to make up the days we recently missed due to the icy conditions in our area.
Students will be dismissed from school at their regular time on Friday, February 17th. They will return to school on Wednesday, February 22nd. Connally ISD staff members will report to work on Tuesday, February 21st, for a day of professional development.

Anyone who is interested is invited to the Connally ISD's School Health Advisory Council Meeting rescheduled for Tuesday February 14th at 4pm in the Administration Building. We will be discussing the Wellness Plan.
The power supply to the Connally Junior High campus has successfully been restored. Classes will resume on the campus in the morning according to the regular bell schedule.
Connally Junior High continues to be without electricity. Oncor cannot estimate when the power will be restored to this campus. We will continue to monitor the situation throughout the evening. If service is not restored, we will cancel school for Connally Junior High students. We will let you know the status of the campus by 9:00 tonight.
