Connally ISD has organized four opportunities for staff, students and families of the district to be tested for COVID. All sessions will be in a drive-through at Connally High School. The sessions will be as follows: Wednesday, September 1st: 8:30 to 10:30 4:00 to 6:00 Thursday, September 2nd: 8:30 to 10:30 4:00 to 6:00 Students under the age of 18 must-have parent/guardian consent prior to testing. Copies of the required consent form will be available on sight. All individuals wanting to be tested are asked to bring their own writing utensil to complete all consent forms.

The Connally Independent School District announced today its policy for serving meals to children served under the SSO Program for the 2021–2022 school year. Schools qualifying to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) provide breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This new approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals at NO CHARGE. Free and Reduced applications are not required for the 2021 – 2022 school year. ALL Connally students receive Free Meals.

The application for the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) is now open (June 2-August 13). Because Connally ISD offers free meals to all students, our families are eligible for the P-EBT program. The P-EBT provides food benefits to families with students enrolled in school (up to 21 years of age) who temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals for the 2020–2021 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
