Due to the approaching inclement weather in our area, all Connally ISD schools are being delayed until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Buses will run beginning at 8:00 a.m. Staff will arrive at 9:15 a.m. so no student will be able to enter the building before 9:15 a.m. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the cold. The decision for a possible cancellation for the entire day will be made once the district has an opportunity to assess the impact the weather has on our area tomorrow morning. Stay safe!

Parents, There is a strong potential for some super cold and wet winter weather towards the end of this week! Make sure your child is bundled up and ready to stay warm! In the event of inclement weather that could cause a delayed start or worst case scenario school cancellation, a notification will go out through regular channels as soon as possible. We will do everything we can to keep you informed as soon as information is available.......Mr. Oakley

My name is Alan Oakley and I am the new principal at Connally Elementary.  Mr. Cantu has taken a position at Central Office and I am so pleased to be the newest member of the CES family. Today is my first day on campus, and I am learning quickly about our campus life and meeting the staff and students.  I have many years of experience in education as an elementary teacher and campus administrator.  In addition, I spent time as a middle school principal for several years with a campus of 4th through 8th grade students.  I am very aware of the uniqueness of this age and I enjoy interacting with all of them. I will make every attempt to communicate as quickly as I can regarding any issues that affect campus life, and I look forward to meeting in the months to come. I know how valuable an open line of communication is to you as a parent, so please know that it is my intention to keep that line open and answer any questions you may have.   Please feel free to email me at aoakley@connally.org or via campus phone number at 254-750-7100.  As a professional staff, we remain committed to providing a safe campus where all students can learn, and I can't wait to see your child be successful here at Connally Elementary. Best regards, Alan R. Oakley Principal
