Connally ISD will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic this evening from 5:00 to 7:00 in the Connally High School Cafeteria. The Early Childhood Christmas program is also scheduled in the high school auditorium from 6:00 to 6:30 this evening, so parking will be in short supply. Therefore, if you are attending the vaccination clinic, we ask that you park in the drive-thru bus lanes off of Hwy 77 (old CHS main entrance). Those doors will be unlocked for vaccination guests only. All three vaccines will be made available at this evening's clinic: Pfizer- Two-dose vaccine, must be administered a minimum of 21 days apart. This is the only FDA-approved vaccine for children 5 years and older. It is also being made available to individuals who would like a booster vaccine. Moderna- Two-dose vaccine, must be administered at a minimum of 28 days apart. The Moderna booster will also be available. Janssen (J&J)- One dose vaccine. The J&J booster will also be available. All who attended the November vaccination clinic are eligible for the second dose of Pfizer or Moderna. Please bring your vaccination card if you are seeking the second or booster dose of a vaccine. The January CISD vaccination clinic is scheduled for Wednesday, January 5, 2022. We encourage all community members to become fully vaccinated* as we continue to battle this virus in our community. *Individuals are fully vaccinated two weeks after the second dose of a 2 dose vaccine or two weeks after the 1 dose vaccine.
