After consulting with local safety officials, Connally ISD has made the decision to CLOSE ALL CAMPUSES on the date of the Total Solar Eclipse - April 8, 2024. Teachers will provide students with eclipse viewing glasses and age appropriate lessons to help them take full advantage of this once in a lifetime event! Students will be back on campus for instruction the following day - April 9. In order to ensure that our students still receive the required number of instructional minutes for this school year, they will also report to school on Friday, April 12, 2024 for regular instruction. This means that the only change to our calendar was that we swapped having Friday off to instead having Monday off. A complete copy of this year's instructional calendar can be found on the Connally ISD website here: https://5il.co/2eodj
