Resources for Student Grief and Trauma

Students experiencing grief due to a traumatic experience may display a wide range of emotions including (but not limited to) withdrawal from social interactions, burst of anger/frustration, and bursts of crying. These emotional responses are normal. This page includes resources that students and parents can utilize to help students as they navigate their emotional responses to trauma.

If you are concerned about the behavior of a student responding to grief/trauma, please contact the CISD Counseling Team or your Local Mental Health Authority.
