CISD Police identified the minors who made the threat on Wed., Oct. 30th. We will be following disciplinary procedures on this matter. School safety is a top priority for CISD. Thank you, CISD police for the quick response and parents, students and staff for your cooperation.
Shortly before dismissal on Wednesday, Oct. 30, Connally HS received a threat via phone. Connally ISD police were alerted. Local law enforcement officers also responded. Connally ISD takes all threats seriously. CISD Police will investigate the threat to ensure student safety.
On Monday, September 30th, a bus driver was told that a student had a BB gun in his possession. Connally Police Department and Connally Junior High Administration were notified. The BB gun was removed from the student without incident. Connally Police Department is actively investigating the case.

On Thursday, August 8, Connally ISD staff will be participating in live Emergency Operations Plan demonstrations. There will be other agencies present to assist our district with these practice drills. Thank you for your patience as we keep our staff refreshed on these important procedures. District offices will be closed from 8 am to 12 pm during these practice drills.
Starting Monday, August 12, campus traffic will return to normal flow. Cadet Way is a two-lane, one way beginning at James Street to the IH-35 service road from 7:00 am to 8:30 am. Please, do not turn left from the right side of Cadet Way to the high school or administration building. Drivers may be approaching from the left side of the road. You must be in the left lane to turn left.
The posted speed limit is 20 mph throughout the district. Please, do not use your cell phone while operating a motor vehicle in school zones. Citations will be issued for violations unless it's hands-free.

The Student Transfer window has expired

REGISTRATION DATES FOR 2019-2020: Monday, July 29, 2019 – PK Roundup at Connally Early Childhood Center campus only – 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM. Grades KG-12: Tuesday, July 30, 2019 – 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Wednesday, July 31, 2019 – 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Thursday, August 1, 2019 – 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM – 7:00 PM. Friday, August 2, 2019, District offices closed – no registration. After August 2, guardians of students may call the campuses for scheduling times.
CISD SHAC has a meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 9 at 4 pm in the Board Room of the Admin. Building. We will be discussing the Wellness Plan. Anyone interested is invited to attend.
Parent Reminder- CHS will have early release today, 3/27 to host our UIL competition. Release at 11:45 a.m. to pick up lunch. Buses run at 12:00 p.m.

The contest will take place in the Connally High School auditorium, admission is free, and shows run back to back beginning at 1 pm. The order of performances is as follows:

Last night, the Cadets defeated the Robinson Rockets 66-49 to lock up 3rd place in District 18-4A. The Cadets will enter Post-Season for the 9th year in a row and will face Midlothian Heritage in the Bi-District Round of the Class 4A State Basketball Playoffs.
