Parents, Please be reminded that students who are currently learning online may change their method of instruction, returning to on-campus instruction, when the the third six weeks grading period begins on November 9th. If you wish to return to campus, you must notify the district by completing the "CHS 20-21 MOI-3RD SIX WEEKS" form in the Skyward Family Access portal. You may also complete the form online here. If your student will continue in their current setting, no action is needed. Connally ISD encourages all students who are able to attend school in person. Data from the first progress reporting periods indicates that our face-to-face students are typically more successful and earn higher grades than their virtual peers. If you have any questions about safety and wellness practices here on campus, please don't hesitate to give us a call at (254)296-6700. Jeremy McCaig Principal, Connally Career Tech

Connally Career Tech Students and Families, We are excited to welcome those of you who will be joining us on campus for in-person learning on Tuesday, September 8th. So that we can have a smooth transition back to campus, we want to share some guidelines with you so that everyone knows what to expect. Arrival: doors open and breakfast served at 7:30 a.m. Car drop-off: only student may exit the vehicle All High School students must enter at the main front entrance or bus entrance and have their temperatures checked daily. Please note: Cadet Way is a one-way street from 7:00-8:30 a.m. At this time, no visitors to campus will be allowed; this includes delivering lunches or other meals. Students will submit a COVID-19 screening questionnaire each week. Be sure and bring your Connally-issued or personal device each day, charged and ready for work! Some important expectations are in place to protect the health and wellness of all: Masks are required at all times for students while on campus, unless eating or drinking. Traffic flow will be one-way (walk on the right side of the hallways) throughout the buildings, and observe 6-foot social distancing. Drinking fountains are restricted except for touchless bottle-fillers where available; students must bring their own clear water bottle. All teachers will have seating charts for in-person students. Most importantly...if you feel sick or have a fever, stay home--but call to let us know. There are many unknowns, but one thing is certain: the faculty and staff at Connally High School and Career Tech miss you and look forward to seeing you. If we all do our part to maintain safe practices, we'll safeguard our ability to continue to have face-to-face learning available. If you have any questions or concerns, please give us a call at (254)296-6700.
