Connally ISD is taking time in January to say thanks for a job well done.

Food Drive a Big Success
Thanks to the generous donations from the Connally students, faculty, and staff, and from members of Lakeview UMC, the Food Drive to help families in our community was a big success. With help from the AFJROTC and the High School National Honor Society, the food was collected, sorted and delivered.

Connally ISD Receives Award

Connally ISD will be presented with an award at the Awards for Excellence In Texas School Health Banquet to be held in Austin Texas, January 27, 2012. This Award will be given for our Abstinence Plus Program initiated in May 2011, called “The Big Decision". The Brazos Area Health Education Center has played a huge part in coordinating and presenting the program to our students. Only 4 of these awards are given throughout the state of Texas.

Robotics Teams Advance to State Competition
Congratulations to Mrs. Farris' robotics teams at Connally Elementary for winning the January competition to advance to the state competition. In the competition, students are inventing and programming robots to perform a task.
