EXTENDED INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAMS
COLLEGE COURSE WORK/DUAL CREDIT
 
PARTNERSHIP
PROGRAMS

Eligible students may enroll in partnership programs with Texascolleges or universities in accordance with the agreement betweenthe District and the college or university. These partnership programs may include:

1. Award of high school credit only.
2. Award of concurrent course credit at community colleges.
3. Award of dual credit at universities.
4. Tech-prep programs.
5. Remedial or developmental instruction to pass statemandated assessments or TASP.
 
Credit toward high school graduation for completed courses shall be earned in accordance with District regulations and guidelines.
 
 
ATTENDANCE

The student shall not have three consecutive unexcused absences, nor shall the student be allowed to be absent for more than 20 percent of the class meetings.
 
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
To remain eligible for extracurricular activities, the student shall maintain a C average in the college course.
 
OTHER COLLEGELEVEL COURSES
According to District criteria and guidelines, students may be awarded credit toward high school graduation for completing a college-level course in an accredited college or university that is not in a partnership program with the District.
