ü Copy of teaching certification

ü Copies of transcripts from all colleges and universities attended

ü Updated resume

ü Letter of intent and/or letter of completion for undergraduates

ü Professional references are required. Examples of professional references include the following: principal, assistant principal, mentor teachers, department chair and cooperating teachers. At least one reference MUST be from someone who served in a supervisory capacity and evaluated you in your most recent classroom setting.

  • The CISD will review the entire application to determine those applicants who will be offered an interview.
  • All information gathered regarding the application will be the property of the school district and will not be released to the applicant.
  • All applications will remain on file for one year.
  • All applicants for professional teaching positions will be considered on an individual basis.
  • It is the general policy of the CISD Human Resource Department that only fully certified candidates will be considered for teaching positions.
